Riddle of the Gem

This is for the September draw-off contest at group, in which we had to draw an unlikely team working together to solve a problem.

In case folks ask, storyline is while Rarity is out gathering gems, she once again bumps into Diamond dogs. Strangely enough, under even stranger circumstances, both end up falling into a chamber where they meet Daring Do. Granted the temple's primary focus, and Rover and Rarity's unique knowledge and skills, Daring hires both to aid her.

My editor is credited for the bases of the riddle. Between my brothers and myself, he's the one who is best in the literary arts. This is the first time I've done a picture with that...amount of lighting in a room, so any constructive criticism is welcome, and I hope you guys like it.
